We provide expert support in Employment Law, HR, Compliance, and Health and Safety, combining practical advice with cutting-edge technology to support organizations of all sizes. We’re now looking for an ambitious professional to join us as Director of Learning Services. This leadership role will see you developing and implementing strategies to drive revenue and margin targets for our learning division, which provides in-person and eLearning services to SME, Corporate, and Third Sector markets. You’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our learning offerings, leading a talented team, and contributing to the overall success of WorkNest.

What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone who will oversee the operational delivery of our Learning Division, ensuring high-quality training services (both in-person and digital) that align with WorkNest's brand and market positioning. You will lead and develop a team, collaborating across departments to execute growth strategies and continuously improve service delivery. We need someone who will take responsibility for shaping and implementing strategies that attract new clients, retain existing ones, and drive business growth through cross-selling and upselling opportunities. Your ability to lead, innovate, and foster strong relationships across internal teams will be critical to the success of the division.
We are looking for someone who will work closely with marketing, sales, and subject matter experts to ensure our learning offerings meet client needs, while staying ahead of market trends and legislative changes to enhance our product suite. Your experience in managing a profit and loss account and leading a business unit will be key to delivering on the revenue and margin targets for the Learning Division.
About You
We are looking for a Director of Learning Services with substantial experience in leading and growing a learning and development business or unit, particularly in the professional services sector. You will have a strong track record of managing P&L, developing client relationships, and driving growth strategies. Your ability to design and execute business strategies, along with your expertise in learning design and delivery, will be essential in ensuring the success of the Learning Division. Ideally, you will also have experience in managing eLearning solutions and delivering thought leadership events in the context of leadership development.
Key attributes include:
- Strategic thinking with a focus on results and the ability to implement plans that drive business performance
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and driving growth through new business, cross-sell, and upsell activities
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, engage, and develop a high-performing team
- A keen understanding of market trends and emerging technologies, particularly in learning and development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships both internally and externally
