As a Marketing Manager for Events, you’ll take the lead on delivering exceptional internal and third-party events across our diverse brands. These events will play a key role in driving lead generation, brand engagement, and commercial growth across sectors including Employment Law, HR, Cybersecurity, and ISO accreditation. If you’re a strategic marketer with strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering events as part of integrated campaigns, this is your chance to make a visible impact in a high-growth environment.
What We Offer
- Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Hybrid working: 2 days in our Chester office, 3 days from home
- Supportive team culture and opportunities for learning
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a marketing professional who combines event delivery experience with strong marketing strategy, lead generation, and campaign execution skills. You’ll take ownership of a broad calendar of owned and third-party events, shaping memorable experiences that not only engage but convert - supporting commercial targets and delivering measurable ROI.
You’ll plan and execute each event end to end, integrating it seamlessly into broader campaigns that align with our marketing and business objectives. From content strategy and pre-event promotion to post-event nurture, follow-up, and performance analysis - you’ll know how to turn interest into action and insights into improvements.
This role requires collaboration across multiple teams, including commercial, sales, and data/MI, to ensure events support pipeline growth and client retention. You’ll also help us continuously evolve our events strategy, identifying new opportunities to enhance engagement and drive value.
About You
You’re an experienced events professional with a passion for creating experiences that leave a lasting impression. You’ve successfully managed a mix of owned and third-party events in a B2B setting and understand how to deliver more than just logistics - you build events that serve as strategic marketing tools, driving brand engagement, lead generation, and commercial results.
Organised, creative, and calm under pressure, you’re comfortable juggling multiple projects and timelines without losing sight of the details. You communicate clearly, collaborate naturally, and know how to bring together people, content, and purpose to make every event count as part of a wider campaign.
You’re confident using CRM and marketing automation tools like Pardot and Salesforce, always curious about what’s working, what could be optimised, and how to improve ROI. You think beyond the event day itself, focusing on the full campaign lifecycle from promotion to follow-up and performance tracking. You’re also happy to travel when needed to ensure events run smoothly from start to finish.
Most of all, you take pride in your work, love what you do, and are excited by the opportunity to shape impactful campaigns and standout events for a brand that’s growing fast and thinking big.
