As a Marketing Manager for Events, you’ll take the lead on delivering exceptional internal and third-party events across our diverse brands. These events will play a key role in supporting commercial growth and brand engagement across sectors including Employment Law, HR, Cybersecurity, and ISO accreditation. If you’re creative, highly organised, and confident managing complex projects from end to end, this is your chance to make a visible impact in a high-growth environment.

What We Offer

• Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Hybrid working: 2 days in our Chester office, 3 days from home

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who can confidently lead the strategy, planning, and delivery of a broad calendar of owned and third-party events. You’ll play a key role in shaping memorable experiences that engage prospects and clients, working across WorkNest’s service lines to deliver events that generate leads, deepen relationships, and elevate our brand in the market.

You’ll take full ownership of each event (from concept to completion), coordinating logistics, managing internal and external partners, and ensuring every detail aligns with our wider marketing and commercial goals. This includes promotional planning, on-site execution, sponsorship activity, and post-event follow-up. You’ll also collaborate with colleagues in marketing, commercial, and MI teams to evaluate performance and continuously enhance our events strategy.

About You

You’re an experienced events professional with a passion for creating experiences that leave a lasting impression. You’ve successfully managed a mix of owned and third-party events in a B2B setting and know how to deliver more than just logistics - you bring the full campaign to life, making sure every touchpoint adds value.

Organised, creative, and calm under pressure, you’re comfortable juggling multiple projects and timelines without losing sight of the details. You communicate clearly, collaborate naturally, and know how to bring together people, content, and purpose to make every event count.

You’re confident using CRM tools like Pardot and Salesforce, curious about what’s working and what could be better, and always looking for fresh ways to engage your audience. You’re also happy to travel when needed to make sure events run smoothly from start to finish.
