What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and proactive HR Consultant to join our growing team. You’ll be the go-to expert for a portfolio of clients, offering practical, tailored advice across a wide range of HR matters, from employee relations and organisational change to absence management and family leave queries. You’ll support clients with everything from drafting handbooks and calculating entitlements to delivering training and helping design reward structures. No two days are the same, and you’ll work closely with colleagues to ensure we continue delivering excellent service, even during busy periods or when colleagues are away.
This is a brilliant opportunity to build strong relationships with clients and truly make an impact in their organisations. You'll also play a key role in account management, process improvement, and helping promote the full range of WorkNest services. You’ll be encouraged to grow professionally through ongoing learning and development, with plenty of support from a warm, collaborative team that shares knowledge and celebrates success together. If you're passionate about HR, love variety in your work, and thrive in a people-focused environment, this is the perfect next step for you.
About You
To thrive in this role, you'll bring solid generalist HR experience, gained either in-house or within a consultancy environment, along with strong working knowledge of employment law and key HR processes. You’ll be confident advising on everything from disciplinary and grievance matters to redundancy, absence, and family friendly policies. Your attention to detail, ability to juggle priorities, and skill in building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders will be key to your success. Confidence with calculations, like pro-rated holiday or redundancy and a proactive, people-focused mindset are also essential.
We’re proud of our supportive, down-to-earth culture where collaboration, continuous learning, and doing the right thing for clients and colleagues is at the heart of everything we do. If you're someone who’s commercially minded, pragmatic and eager to grow with a team that genuinely cares about making a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
