We're recruiting for a highly capable Senior Accountant to join our Finance team on a temporary basis. This role has been created to maintain continuity of core finance activities and provide financial leadership while key team members focus on the successful implementation and integration of our new ERP finance system.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring day-to-day financial operations run smoothly and that accurate, timely financial information is available to senior stakeholders.

What we’re looking for
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll play a key role in the month-end close process, helping to prepare and review journals, accruals, and prepayments while ensuring financial statements are accurate and complete. You’ll be responsible for producing and maintaining short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts, monitoring bank activity, and providing insights into variances, risks, and opportunities. Your expertise in balance sheet management will ensure the integrity of financial records through timely reconciliations and issue resolution. Acting as a trusted finance partner to senior management, you’ll deliver high-quality analysis, reporting, and insight to support decision-making. Additionally, you’ll contribute to the successful implementation of our ERP system, working closely with the project team and identifying opportunities to enhance finance operations.
About You
You'll be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with solid experience in a senior accounting or finance role. You'll bring a strong understanding of core finance processes and controls, excellent analytical skills, and confidence in working with financial systems and Excel. Good communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and thrives in dynamic environments with a proactive and adaptable approach is essential for the role. Previous experience supporting an ERP system rollout or working through a systems implementation is highly valued.
