Financial Controller (Internal Only)
Role
As Financial Controller over the “Record to Report” pillar of WorkNest, you will take ownership of the financial reporting, planning, and control environment, playing a significant role in driving financial excellence across the organisation. Reporting to the WorkNest Finance Director, you will lead and develop a team of accountants and finance professionals, with a key focus on transforming the reporting function into a best-in-class finance team.
This role combines leadership with forward-thinking insight, requiring a hands-on individual who can provide high-quality financial reporting, develop and improve on our robust control framework, and deliver meaningful analysis to support strategic decision-making. You will collaborate closely with the Executive Team and the wider Senior Leadership Team (SLT) across all areas of the business, using financial outputs to drive performance, identify opportunities, and influence outcomes.
Key priorities include acting as a key stakeholder in shaping the future state of the finance function—bringing together finance teams across the Group through ERP rollouts, legal entity hive-ups, and harmonisation of processes. You will take a leading role in the integration of acquisitions into the finance team and reporting framework, and embed a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring the reporting function delivers accurate, insightful, and timely outputs that support strategic decision-making.
