What we’re looking for
We are recruiting for a Health & Safety Construction professional to manage and strengthen a key client relationship while delivering high quality consultancy across a range of CDM and construction projects. Acting as the primary point of contact, you will provide expert advice on compliance, risk management, and project safety, ensuring client satisfaction, long-term engagement, and opportunities for service growth. You will support wider client portfolios with clear guidance, thorough documentation, and effective issue resolution, while collaborating closely with colleagues to meet departmental goals and uphold rigorous quality standards.
About you
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Health & Safety adviser with a strong track record of delivering effective H&S management across diverse industries or within an enforcement capacity. You will have a solid understanding of relevant legislation, particularly the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2015 and the Principal Designer role, with the ability to drive service excellence and improve health and safety performance. Highly organised and confident working both remotely and on client sites, you will bring exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, motivate others and contribute positively to team development. You will be proficient in MS Office and comfortable using CRM or workload planning systems, while demonstrating a passion for people, professional growth, and maintaining a supportive working environment. A clean driving licence, willingness to travel nationwide, and suitable qualifications, such as the NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent), IOSH status, and ideally construction-related or APS memberships are essential to succeed in this role.
