What we’re looking for
We’re excited to be recruiting an L&D Consultant following the win of a new contract and during an ambitious period of growth. This role gives you the chance to shape how organisations manage complex Employee Relations, joining a business expanding into new sectors and building its reputation as the go to L&D partner for legally informed, commercially focused ER solutions. You’ll consult with clients on Employee Relations capability, designing and delivering bespoke interventions that drive meaningful organisational change, all within a collaborative business known for its amazing culture and supportive, expert led team.
In the role, you’ll design and deliver high impact ER training across investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, performance management and difficult conversations, while building strong consultancy partnerships through insightful needs analysis and solution design. Your work will be grounded in real world employment law and HR practice, ensuring credibility and impact. You’ll also support business development and work with a diverse client base from SMEs to large enterprises, helping strengthen management capability and organisational culture through integrated L&D and wider solutions.
About you
You’ll bring significant practical experience handling complex Employee Relations matters, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, capability, TUPE and redundancy, with the confidence to advise senior leaders through challenging people situations. You’ll have a strong grasp of employment law and tribunal risk, alongside the ability to translate complex or technical ER issues into practical, engaging guidance. Comfortable designing and delivering high impact training, you’ll flex your style for different audiences, create interactive and scenario-based learning, and deliver confidently both in person and virtually. You’ll also be commercially minded, able to design compelling learning solutions and proposals that deliver real business impact, all within our amazing, collaborative culture where knowledge is shared, ideas are valued, and teams thrive together.
You’ll hold at least one relevant qualification or equivalent level of expertise, such as being a qualified solicitor with training delivery experience, holding a CIPD Level 7 or ILM Level 7 qualification with a strong ER background, or bringing substantial senior ER practitioner experience (10+ years) with demonstrable training capability.
