What we’re looking for
We’re looking for a commercially minded, people focused leader to take full ownership of a retained client portfolio worth around £100m and drive a best-in-class retention and growth strategy. You’ll lead, coach and inspire our Client Managers, empowering them to deliver exceptional renewals, upsell and cross-sell outcomes, while working in close partnership with Client Implementation, Service Delivery, Marketing and Product teams to ensure clients are fully engaged and realising maximum value from our consultancy and software solutions. Using data, insight and market awareness, you’ll identify growth opportunities, manage risk and shape engagement strategies, while defining and tracking key performance metrics to inform senior leadership. You’ll also play a critical role in resolving complex client issues with empathy and commercial judgement, shaping the client experience through loyalty and advocacy initiatives, and leading client management strategy across newly acquired businesses.
About you
You’ll be an experienced senior leader or an established head of customer success and/or account management, ideally from a professional services environment with exposure to SaaS, and bring a strong track record of driving client growth while reducing churn. You will have good experience of building, leading and motivating high-performing teams, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. Commercially astute and analytically minded, you’ll be comfortable shaping pricing strategies, navigating complex commercial discussions, and translating data and insight into clear, actionable plans. You will have good experience of successfully implementing scalable client segmentation models, driving CRM effectiveness, managing budgets with a balance of efficiency and growth, and supporting integration within acquisitive businesses. A natural communicator and influencer, you’ll thrive in fast-paced environments, bringing innovative problem-solving to complex challenges, leading with a genuinely client-centric mindset. Above all, you’ll be someone who values teamwork, champions our values, and inspires people to perform at their best in a supportive, ambitious and high-functioning environment.
