A supportive and inclusive work culture
The role
As Head of Operational Excellence & Transformation, you will work closely with senior leadership to improve how teams operate across the business.
You will identify opportunities to reduce inefficiencies, streamline processes, and increase the time teams spend on high value client activity. You will lead initiatives that introduce smarter ways of working, leveraging automation, technology, and AI to improve productivity, service quality, and scalability.
This is a highly visible, cross-functional role where you’ll drive meaningful change across operations, delivery, technology, and commercial teams, ensuring improvements are implemented, measured, and sustained.
What you’ll be doing
Analyse how teams spend their time and identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency
Streamline and standardise processes across the business to reduce non-value-added work
Introduce automation, AI, and digital tools to improve workflows, reporting, and decision making
Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives aligned with strategic priorities
Use data and insight to track performance, identify trends, and support better decision making
Improve service quality, responsiveness, and client outcomes
Champion a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation
About you
You’ll be an experienced and credible leader with a track record of delivering operational improvement, transformation, or operational excellence in professional services, consulting, or SaaS environments. You have strong experience analysing and redesigning processes, implementing scalable improvements, and driving measurable gains in productivity, efficiency, and service quality.
You are data driven and skilled at using insight to identify opportunities, guide decisions, and measure impact. You’ve led cross-functional initiatives in scaling or high growth organisations, influencing senior stakeholders and building alignment across teams. Preferred experience includes consulting, transformation, operations, or operational excellence, with familiarity in Lean, Six Sigma, Agile (e.g., SAFe), or continuous improvement frameworks.
You understand how technology, automation, and AI can improve performance and service delivery, and ideally have applied AI-enabled solutions to enhance productivity, reporting, or workflows. Equally, you are a collaborative, people focused leader who champions culture, empowering teams, fostering innovation, and embedding continuous improvement to deliver better outcomes for colleagues and clients.
Why this role matters
This role will play a critical part in enabling WorkNest to scale effectively, improving how teams operate, increasing efficiency, enhancing service quality, and embedding smarter ways of working. By combining operational excellence, process improvement, and AI-enabled innovation, you will unlock greater productivity and help deliver exceptional outcomes for both colleagues and clients.
